Nike Flywire installation

Nike Flywire Technology is a revolutionary lightweight support system that redefines footwear construction. By shaving off weight and adding strength, it allows athletes to be lighter on their feet and faster on the court.

For the launch in Jakarta, Indonesia, designer/graffiti artist Darbotz has been given a chance to make an installation based on Flywire Technology.

“…The Flywire concept inspires me to create an installation about the flowing movement of the shoes. The explosion shows the strength of the shoes, and their lightness is represented by feelings of blaze, brightness, luminescence, radiance, and emptiness. That has made it possible to express fathomless and fluid movement.

I have presented this idea using a wood structure, wires, and dynamic movement of spray paint, which represents my signature style…”

To celebrate its 100th anniversary Converse has released a music video for My Drive-Thru featuring Pharrell Williams, N.E.R.D., Santogold, and Julian Casablancas. The video was created by Converse with partners including Anomaly, Cornerstone and the directing and animation talents of Psyop.

within an hour – to one and a half hours the colored ink bleeds into the fabric and creates a one-off design
for each occasion. The owner can then clean the dress and color it in a different way for each time they wear it.
